Apartment Review
Not worth the money

The inside of the buildings and the apartments are nice. You get new carpet and can choose the color of your paint when you move in. Its pretty secure, although if someone did manage to sneak into the garage after a car comes through, there is a door that is always open inside where anyone could walk right in.

If you are a fan of sleeping in, you won't be able to do that here. The apartments are surrounded by businesses and restaurants that have their trash picked up several times a week, and it is LOUD! You're lucky if you get to sleep until 6AM some mornings.

The outside surrounding grassy areas leave a lot to be desired. They are the bathroom for the dogs in the building, and people do NOT pick up after their pets.

The real problem is the property manager. When I first met him I thought he sounded very efficient and I was looking forward to moving in. However, as I got to know others in the building I had multiple people ask if I'd had any issues with him yet. I was told that the reason people usually move out is because of him. Once I saw him in action, I realized what people meant. He runs around like a chicken with his head cut off and is very hard to find if you need anything. And if you do happen to catch him in the hallway, you'll later see a note in the weekly newsletter telling the residents how annoyed he is with people stopping him in the hallway with issues or repair requests. He is also very hard to follow if you do happen to have a conversation with him. He is always babbling at a million miles a minute about things that don't pertain to the conversation. He also always has an excuse for everything and why things aren't getting done. He typically blames everything on the owner of the building. Another thing about his newsletters...I really didn't appreciate the "helpful reminders" that he usually includes. Don't do this, don't do that! It is like living in a college dormitory all over again. He is very condescending, and I heard him talk about other residents in the building in a negative manner many times. Gossiping seems to be one of his favorite activities.

While the apartments are nicer than most in the area, after living here I don't find it worth it. If the property manager is ever fired, then I would highly recommend it!
