Apartment Review for Premier Gardens Apartments - Fort Worth, TX

We were enticed by the large space in a good neighborhood at a reasonable price. The apt. was under renovation so we were unable to see our exact apt until two days before move in. We asked two VERY specific questions before we signed a lease: Was the unit downstairs (as I was 5 months pregnant and didn't want to deal with stairs) and were the w/d connections full-sized. We were told yes to both but found out the Thursday before we moved on Sat. that the answer was actually NO to both. The Lady had NO CLUE what she was talking about. We had countless issues with getting a fridge the right size in our unit and when they finally got one in they moved the food out of our old fridge into the new one (New to us, it was a used fridge). I thought that was so nice until I realized they hadn't cleaned out the new one. How did I know' The fridge was full of dead MAGGOTS. Yes, I'm serious. And they just put my food in there. We have also had QUITE a few issues with maintenance. The guy who does it is very nice but has too much to do as he works on two properties. We have issues that we told them about the day we moved in. We were told they would be fixed within a few weeks and now a year later, when we are moving out, they are STILL not fixed. The property management is NEVER in the office. The foundation is horrible, we have HUGE cracks in the wall that have just appeared the past few months and our neighbors are very loud at all hours of the day and night. I could NEVER recommend these apartments to ANYONE!
