Apartment Review for Huntington Apartments - Fort Worth, TX

These are now the Bella Luxury Apartments, though there is nothing luxury about them. New management has cleaned things up a bit, but there are still problems. They have fixed the access gates, but the pool is non functional. They closed the laundry facilities and put razor wire around the perimeter. You might feel as if you are under lockdown. The management was generally responsive to maintenance issues, although they had devoted much to office improvement without improving the apartments or grounds or other tenant amenities. Seems like they are spending a lot on excesses and not anything on improvements for the tenants. Management is an issue. They are fine mostly, but there are problems with deposit returns and paperwork issues. They seem not to care about Texas Tenant/Landlord Law unless they are the ones using the courts for themselves. They also claim to be onsite management, but only in theory. They are actually managed by out of state interests that tie the hands of the management (purposefully?) They also attempted to put up soccer nets for a play improvement, but they put them on unimproved pad space from a burned down apartment. There are rocks, scrag, holes, and it is generally a non-acceptable place for children to play. It looks dangerous. Overall, these new managers act like idiots in many cases spending money on lavish improvements for thier own aesthetics but none for the residents and although they have tried to provide some new improvements the choices they have made make the property very undesirable to live in. you can do better and get better elsewhere. If word of mouth gets around, these apartments would be doomed.
