Apartment Review for Greenwood Creek Apartments - Fort Worth, TX

My son and I have rented here almost one and a half years. From late in 2005 to spring 2007 with no plans to leave. Of all the apartments I've rented in four cities, three seperate facilities in Ft. Worth, this is my favorite. Beautiful location and grounds. Easy access to major streets and Interstates. Staff has changed, but are always friendly to me and mine. They have been very good even when I screwed up. Many upkeep projects in the works. A complaint, they give no notice what ever when shutting off the water. When work is done requiring the removal of our cars, we get very short notice with the option of getting our cars off the property or being towed at our expense. Although the work was needed and quickly done. Pet owners never pick up behind their animals, but that's the case every where I've rented. Reasonable rent is somewhat offset by extremely high water, gas and waste bills, our two bdr runs in the $80 and $90 range monthly, and we try to conserve. Appliances are old and some what cheaper than some I've had. One covered parking is assigned to each apt. The parking is ample most of the time. My electric bill is very managable, the breeze and trees help keep the grounds and buildings cooler in summer than my previous apartments in north Texas. Altogether it is very pleasant here. And City of Benbrook Police Officers are always seen around the area, helping to keep it safe. I hope to live here untill I can buy a home.
