Apartment Review for Cypress Springs Apartments - Fort Worth, TX

Cypress Springs is the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in. The Staff is EXTREMELY rude. They act like you're putting them out when you go to pay your bill. I had one lady yell at me because I asked a question. Every Monday morning at 6am the workers are outside screaming and they start mowing the lawn and weed wacking. The complex is falling down. The paint is lead paint. Crime is ridiculous here. I bought mace as well as got a permit for a concealed weapon that's how unsafe I feel. I heard what I thought was gun shots at 3 am three weekends ago. When I woke up at 6 am to go to work, police were everywhere with police caution tape all over the place. I run from my car to my apartment. I sleep with my mace next to my pillow and am constantly scared. I've put in over 10 'working requests' they call it, for things that are broken in my apartment. Some of the things were found by the staff when I moved in. No one has contacted me about any of the requests, or come to my apartment to fix it. However, I'm a little relieved because I'm not sure I would want the fix-it guys in my apartment. When I went to cook in my stove, it start smoking immediately and set my smoke alarm off. I've cleaned it and still cant find what is making the smoke. Basically, I can't use my stove. The water in my sink runs so thinly it takes over 10 seconds to fill my palm with water. My car was vandalized 1 week ago. There are lots of hidden fees they don't tell you about when you move in. You have to buy your own renters insurance. They don't tell you that you pay the sewer and trash fee. The cheap prices are so cheap because they don't pay anything out of it. Your price is actually significantly higher after you factor in the other hidden fees they don't tell you about at all. You find out on your own when you get a bill in the mail! How wonderful. DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
